Biomorphic1986 & Biomorphic gothic 1987  were the first 2 exhibitions after my first Art School studies. Influenced by surrealism particularly the work of Roberto Matta. The experiences as a child of 10 in the Cathedrals of England, the imaginations and fantasies aroused by perceptions of worn and 'living stone", suddenly resurfaced in these works of 1987.
